Settlement between the daughter of Ibrahim Khan Sa‘d al-Dawlah [Gawhar Taj Khanum] and her grandson, Ibrahim Khan (with guardianship of his father ‘Ali Akbar Khan As‘adi) over half of the Jahan Abad farm in Rigan for one hundred dinars and some wheat, the Bibi Zava’i garden in Mahdab and its water usage for one hundred dinars, and some crystal candies. After Gawhar Taj Khanum’s death, the income from these properties should be used for renumeration of prayers and fasts for fifty years, Qur’an recitations, offerings of food, and expenses for sending forty people to pilgrimage.

Power of attorney given by Karbalayi Zayn al-‘Abidin Nahhas [the copper dealer] known as Karbalayi ‘Abid [the devoted], son of Muhammad ‘Ali, to Muhammad Baqir ‘Attar [the herb seller], son of the late ‘Ali Munajjim [the astrologist], in order to manage his financial matters during his absence from Shiraz. Sayyidah Fatimah Khanum (known as Khanum Jan), daughter of Haj Sayyid Razi from Fuman, has assigned her children, Sayyid Muhammad Riza and Nur al-Hajiyah (Aqa Mir Isma‘il's wife), as the executors of her will to manage payments of her debts, transfer her deceased body to Qum for burial at her father's mausoleum, as well as payments for fifty years worth of prayers and fasts and other religious rights and charities.

Discusses receiving the addressee's letter; mentions that since Ramadan started, ‘Izzat al-Dawlah moved to the city from Farmaniyyah and the author is with her in the city; and although fasting and the heat are difficult, ‘Izzat al-Dawlah has so far been well. Huma Khanum has been well too; what was needed for the andaruni construction has been done; the rooms were measured for ordering the carpets if the addressee confirms it.
